Community Service Description:
All members of RIRTA submit volunteer hours to The Community Service Coordinator. At the Annual meeting in June all the volunteer hours are added up and a dollar figure is attached to each hour. We then publish the figure to show how much money we have saved the State by volunteering.

Scholarship Description:
Each unit as well as RIRTA gives one or two scholarships to seniors going into the field of education.
